Owner and head instructor Mitch Mitchell has a long background in teaching and coaching sports. A former college and professional coach, Mitch has spent a lot of time helping people reach their goals. Mitch has been kayaking for 20 years, is certified by the American Canoe Association as a Level 4 Instructor Trainer in open water coastal kayaking (he trains and certifies the teachers). In addition, Mitch is a Level 3 British Canoe Union Coach and certified in Wilderness First Aid.
